What is a “Bundle as Product”?

A “Bundle as Product” allows you to combine multiple items into a single product pack. This pack is treated as one standalone product with its own product page, rather than an addition to existing products in your store. Commonly referred to as fixed bundles, product sets, or value packs, these bundles can be customized and optimized for your store’s needs.

Steps to Create a Bundle as a Product

Step 1. Access the Scenarios Section

Go to the Scenarios section in your dashboard and click on “Create” under the “Bundle as Product” scenario.

Step 2. Create a New Bundle

Select the option to create a new bundle.

Step 3. Add Products to Your Bundle

Choose the products you want to include in this bundle

Step 4. Name Your Bundle and Add Visuals

Give your bundle a name and add an image and description. These details will automatically update on your Shopify store

Step 5. Set the Discount

Apply a discount to the bundle if desired and save the changes

Bundle Customization

Step 6. Customize the Bundle’s Appearance

Navigate to the Design tab to customize the look and feel of your bundle scenario. Tailor the design to match your store’s branding.

Step 7: Add the App Block

  1. Click Publish in the app.

  1. A popup window will appear, prompting you to select a product template to which the app block should be added.

  2. After selecting the template, click the Add to Store button.

  1. You’ll be redirected to Shopify’s theme editor where the App Block should be inserted.

  2. From the left-side editor, you can add and reposition the block just like any other page element.

  3. Click Save in Shopify once the block is positioned to your liking.

Step 8: Confirm and Finalize in Amplify

  1. After saving in Shopify, return to the Amplify app.

  2. You’ll see a "Good Job!" confirmation message.

The Bundle is now live in your store! 🎉

Adding the Bundle to a Specific Collection

If you want to add the bundle to a specific collection, add tags or product category

Step 1. Edit on Shopify

Step 2. Organize Your Bundle

In the Product organization section, add tags or select a product category to include your bundle in specific collections or search results.

Common Questions About Bundle as Product Deals

Why is my bundle not showing on the product page?

Make sure you completed the App Block setup via the Publish flow in Amplify and saved changes in Shopify.

Can I customize where the App Block appears on the page?

Yes, once in Shopify's theme editor, you can move the App Block like any other element.

Do I need to repeat the App Block setup for every bundle?

No, it applies to the selected template. Future bundles using that template will display automatically.

What happens if I don't return to the Amplify app after saving?

The bundle will not be published until you confirm via the "Good Job" screen in Amplify.

Can I reuse the same template for different bundles?

Absolutely. The App Block will load the correct content based on the bundle assigned to the product.

Conclusion

With the updated process for adding an App Block directly through Amplify's Publish flow, setting up a “Bundle as Product” is smoother than ever. This ensures that your bundle widgets load properly on your product pages, enhancing the customer experience and boosting your upselling strategy. Follow the steps above to make the most of this powerful feature.
