# Understanding Cart & Checkout Pricing Plans

## Monthly Billing Based on Extra Revenue

Upon installing **Cart & Checkout**, you’ll receive a **30-day free trial**. This trial period allows you to fully explore and implement all the features that **Cart & Checkout** offers, helping you optimize your cart and checkout processes to generate more revenue—at no cost to you.

[If you continue using our app](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] after the free trial ends, you will be charged monthly based on the **extra revenue** generated by **Cart & Checkout** during the previous billing cycle. Extra revenue refers to the sales made through **Cart & Checkout app** features, such as enhanced cart flows, streamlined checkout options, and personalized product recommendations that lead to completed sales.

For example, if **Cart & Checkout** helps your store generate an additional $1,900 in extra revenue during the first month, your charge would be $49.5. This fee is directly proportional to the extra revenue your store earns using the app’s features in that 30-day period. Each month, this fee is updated based on the extra revenue made with Cart & Checkout during the current billing period.

## How Is Extra Revenue Calculated?

“Extra revenue generated through Cart & Checkout” refers to sales finalized through the use of **Cart & Checkout** features, including optimized cart and checkout processes or tailored product recommendations. Please note that canceled or refunded orders are not deducted from this revenue calculation, as the focus is solely on completed sales that contribute to your store’s overall success.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.heyamplify.com/cart-and-checkout/other/billing/understanding-cart-and-checkout-pricing-plans.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
