What is a Custom Section?
The BYOBS Custom Section is a powerful feature within the Build Your Own Bundle (BYOBS) experience that allows merchants to embed their own custom HTML, logic, and designs into the bundle flow. This feature enables merchants to personalize their bundle display, add interactive elements, and improve user engagement.

How It Works
The Custom Section allows merchants to insert their own code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) into a designated section of the Build Your Own Bundle Section bundle.
It is not directly connected to the JavaScript SDK, but developers can use the SDK within the Build Your Own Bundle Section custom section to enhance its functionality.
This section provides flexibility for merchants who want to design unique bundle displays that match their store's branding and functionality needs.
How to Enable and Use the Custom Section
Ensure that your store is on the Amplify One plan. If not, reach out to sales for an upgrade.
Go to the Amplify Bundles & Upsell app in your Shopify store.
Navigate to your Build Your Own Bundle Section deal settings.
Within the bundle editing interface, click on Add Section and choose Custom Section. This will allow you to insert a new field where you can enter your custom code.
Insert your custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to modify the appearance and behavior of your bundle.
Save your changes, and the updates will be reflected on the storefront.
Important Notes
This feature is only available for Build Your Own Bundle (BYOBS) and does not apply to other bundle types.
Merchants should have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS or work with a developer for advanced customization.
