The BYOBS Custom Section is a powerful feature within the Build Your Own Bundle (BYOBS) experience that allows merchants to embed their own custom HTML, logic, and designs into the bundle flow. The Custom Section allows merchants to insert their own code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) into a designated section of the Build Your Own Bundle Section bundle.
It is not directly connected to the , but developers can use the SDK within the Build Your Own Bundle Section custom section to enhance its functionality.
This section provides flexibility for merchants who want to design unique bundle displays that match their store's branding and functionality needs.
Ensure that your store is on the Amplify One plan. If not, .
Go to the Amplify Bundles & Upsell app in your Shopify store.
Navigate to your Build Your Own Bundle Section deal settings.
Within the bundle editing interface, click on Add Section and choose Custom Section. This will allow you to insert a new field where you can enter your custom code.
Insert your custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to modify the appearance and behavior of your bundle.
Save your changes, and the updates will be reflected on the storefront.
